::Disaster Assistance
Around the globe at almost any point in time, people are suffering the effects of manmade and natural disasters. Hurricanes, tsunamis, tornados, floods, fires, famine, and pandemic disease have wracked our world with devastating loss of life, destruction of property, and alteration of lifestyle for millions of people. Into this world of pain and destruction, we are called to express Christ's love through compassion and giving that break down barriers and allow us to embrace the world's broken and lost. We are called to take the message of "Jesus . . . the Hope" through compassionate evangelism.
Through our connections with such agencies as FEMA, SEMA and Webster County Long Term Recovery, the ROCC is able to work with these agencies and families that have been affected by disasters, whether severe storms, tornadoes, flooding, etc to assist them with guidance during their time of hurt and need.
