2010 UPDATE: A HUGE THANKS to each of the children who came to our Summer Day Camp this year. We hosted more than 50+ kids throughout the 5-week camp! A GREAT BIG THANK YOU to Susan Conley and all of her helpers for making this year such a success! See you next year!
SUMMER DAY CAMP PROGRAM
APPLICANT CRITERIA
Children must between the ages of 5 and 12 years of age and have finished kindergarten through 5th grade in elementary school.
Children must be from families that due to financial conditions, work schedules or other extenuating circumstances need a no cost day camp. (One-on-one interviews will be conducted if there is question as to eligibility.)
Parents/guardians are responsible to pick up children at the ROCC no later than 3:45 pm on days when day camp is in session. (Monday through Friday, July 5 through August 6, 2010.)
Breakfast and lunch will be provided by the ROCC in cooperation with the Kids Cafe' program through the Ozarks Food Harvest food bank. Any child 18 years of age and younger may participate in the free meal program even if they do not attend the day camp. Breakfast is at 9:00 am and lunch is at 12:00 noon. (Disabled individuals over 19 may also participate in the Kids Cafe' program.)
