::Tutoring Program
AFTER SCHOOL TUTORING PROGRAM
Children must be between the ages of 5 and 12 years of age and/or in kindergarten through 5th grade in elementary school.
Children must be recommended by a teacher as a student that needs additional help with homework. (This is not a latch key program.)
Children must be from a family that due to financial conditions, work schedules or other extenuating circumstances cannot provide the help needed. (One-on-one interviews wil be conducted if there is a question as to eligibility.)
Parents/guardians are responsible to pick children up at the ROCC no later than 5:30 pm on days when tutoring is in session. (Monday through Thursday when public school is in session.) Parents are responsible for weekend tutoring.
The ROCC will arrange transportation with the local school for students to get from the school to the ROCC when tutoring program is in session.
An after school snack and evening meal will be provided by the ROCC in cooperation with the Kids Cafe' program through the Ozarks Food Harvest food bank.
